As the one year anniversary of music legend Whitney Houston's death approaches, mom Cissy Houston's tell-all "Remembering Whitney," which was released Jan. 29, is being slammed as "disrespectful" by Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina.
The 19-year-old, who lost her mother on Feb. 11, 2011, took to her Twitter account last week to voice her feelings about her grandmother.
"ANYTHING concerning my grandmothers Book I & @nickdgordon OF COURSE personally have NOTHING 2 do with I ask you pls RESPECT tht Haven't read & won't," she wrote to her nearly 121,000 followers.
Nick Gordon is Houston's informally adopted son and is now in a romantic relationship with Bobbi Kristina.
"I find it 2B Disrespect 2 MY MOTHER & me being HER DAUGHTER won't tolerate it," she went on. " I LOVE YOU ALL for your support though & I thank you immenselyooxO!"
The book includes detailed accounts of Houston's battle with drugs, rumors of a gay relationship and difficulties in her marriage to ex-husband Bobby Brown.
The cover of the book "Remembering Whitney" reads, "My story of love, loss, and the night the music stopped."
The music did in fact stop on the eve of the 2011 Grammy's when the 48-year-old singer accidentally drowned in the bathtub in her room at the Beverly Hills Hotel due to the effects of heart disease and drug use.
