Bobbi Kristina Brown's Cause Of Death Determined But Won't Be Released

The cause of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death has been determined, but the medical examiner won’t publicly unveil autopsy results because of a court order.

The Fulton County medical examiner’s office said in a statement Sunday it is not releasing details because of a county Superior Court order to seal the results. Brown, 22, died in hospice care July 26.

Brown was the only child of the late Whitney Houston and her then-husband, Bobby Brown. The district attorney and Roswell police have been notified of the findings.

Brown was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31 in the townhouse she shared with Nick Gordon, whom Houston raised as her own. The conservator of Brown’s estate has filed a lawsuit claiming Gordon drugged and drowned her.

A police report earlier this year described the tragedy as a drowning.
