Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston’s daughter, has died, her family reported. Brown, the only daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, passed away today, nearly five months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub of her home. She was 22.

“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family,” their statement says. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Brown had been unresponsive in hospitals and hospice care since she was found in a bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia, home on Jan. 31. Her family said she suffered irreversible brain damage.

Brown, whose father is R&B singer and occasional actor Bobby Brown, has stayed mostly out of the spotlight the past couple of years since her high-rated interview with Oprah Winfrey following her mother’s death in 2012, a role on Tyler Perry’s TBS show For Better Or Worse and her appearance on Lifetime reality show The Houstons: On Our Own.

The family has been in the news of late over the premiere of the Angela Bassett-directed Lifetime telepic Whitney. The Houston family strongly opposed and publicly denounced the biopic starring Yaya DaCosta. Brown’s bathtub accident came two weeks later. The View co-host Rosie Perez drew raised eyebrows connecting the two, saying on the ABC talk show that “this unauthorized biography of her mom must have killed her.”
