Track sales for "I Don't F--- With You" climbed 4 percent (to 67,000 digital downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan in the week ending Nov. 23), driving the song 2-1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs, and giving Sean his third No. 1 as a lead artist (and fourth overall) on that list. Spotify plays increased to 2.5 million weekly plays (an 18 percent jump), as clicks across all monitored streaming services rises to 7.5 million, taking the Streaming Gainer tag. On the Billboard Artist 100, Sean hops 42-40.
Azalea Blooms With Fourth Top 10: Also on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Iggy Azalea scores her fourth top 10 this year as "Beg For It," featuring Mø, hopping 14-9, and taking Airplay Gainer honors. Digital sales grow 12 percent, to 48,000 downloads, aiding in the ascent (though it's pushed back 3-4 on Rap Digital Songs). Azalea also occupies the No. 6 spot on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs with "Black Widow," featuring Rita Ora, dipping one position in its 22ndweek. "Widow" spent five consecutive weeks at No. 1 after reaching the summit on Oct. 18.
No 'Lies' -- Minaj Makes Debut: The Hot Shot Debut on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs goes to Nicki Minaj with "Bed Of Lies" featuring Skylar Grey, entering at No. 19. The song catapults 23-3 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs, selling 50,000 downloads (a 265 percent surge). Minaj and Grey performed the song at the American Music Awards (broadcast on Nov. 23 on ABC), bolstering the leap in sales. The rapper climbs 12-10 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, maintaining the highest ranking of any rapper on the list.
A 'Voice' Debuts: Over on Hot R&B Songs, current contestant on NBC's The Voice, Damien Lawson, arrives at No. 14 with his rendition of "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother." The track, originally a Billboard Hot 100 hit for The Hollies in 1969, was performed by the singer in an R&B arrangement. It moved nearly 19,000 digital downloads following the airing of the show on Nov. 17, enough to debut at No. 4 on R&B Digital Songs. Lawson is currently in the top eight finalists on the program, as part of Adam Levine's team. It's the highest chart showing for the singer thus far, having reached No. 25 on Hot R&B Songs on Nov. 25 with a rendition of Sam Smith's "I'm Not The Only One."
