Beyoncé And Jay Z Perform At Hillary Clinton Event

Hillary Clinton just hopes she doesn’t have 270 problems.

A campaign rally at Cleveland State University brought out some of the biggest music stars Friday night, including Beyoncé, Jay Z, Chance the Rapper and Big Sean.

Big Sean opened the show with a performance of “I Don’t F--k With You,” dedicated to “that other person.”

“This is a moment in time we will never forget,” he told the crowd.

J. Cole also performed in front of a giant sign on stage quoting Clinton: “Everyday Americans need a champion. I want to be that champion.”

Following Jay Z, Beyoncé came on stage to “Formation” in a polka dot pantsuit.

“There was a time when a woman’s opinion did not matter, if you were white, black, Asian, Muslim, educated or rich. If you were a woman, it did not matter,” she said between songs.

“Look how far we’ve come from having no voice to being on the brink of making history. But we have to vote. The world looks to us as a progressive country that leads change.”

The “Lemonade” singer said putting Clinton in the White House would give her daughter Blue Ivy the inspiration to succeed.

“I want her to know that her possibilities are limitless,” Beyoncé said. “We have to think about the futures about our daughters, our sons and vote for someone who cares about them as much as we do.”

A backdrop to Queen Bey's performance reclaimed a 1992 Clinton line that had caused ripples from people who considered it an insult to homemakers:"I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas, but what I decided to do was to fulfill my profession which I entered before my husband was in public life."

Hours before the event started, the bomb squad was called to the theater but gates were re-opened shortly after.

Introduced by the "Empire State of Mind" rapper, Clinton thanked the audience and performers for their passion, energy and intensity.

"We have a woman who is an inspiration to so many others. I thank Beyonce for showing up and showing the world we are strongest when we look out for each other," Clinton said.

"And I thank Jay for addressing issues in his songs: poverty, racism, the urgent need for criminal justice reform. As Jay memorably said,“Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther King could walk. Martin Luther King walked so Obama could run. Obama's running so we all can fly.”

Jay Z closed out the show with "Hard Knock Life."

Clinton has multiple events planned throughout Ohio in the final weekend of the election season as she attempts to shore up support for Tuesday.
