The feeling may not be mutual, but Beck has nothing but love for Kanye West.
The 44-year-old "Turn Away" singer, who took home the award for Album of the Year for "Morning Phase" at Sunday's Grammys, handled the 37-year-old rapper's near interruption of his acceptance speechin stride.
"I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody," Beck told Us Weekly at a party after the show.
"How many great records has he put out in the last five years, right?"
West made his way to the stage while Beck was accepting his award much like he did at the 2009 MTV Music Awards to Taylor Swift, but this time around, he let him finish, leaving viewers to think he was only joking.
While Kim Kardashian's husband may not have caused a scene, he definitely wasn't playing around.
"I don't even know what (Beck) said. I just know that, the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us, we aren't going to play with them no more," he told his sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian during an E! after-show interview.
"Flawless.' Beyonce's video. And Beck needs to respect artistry, he should have given his award to Beyonce."
"At this point, we tired of it. What happens is, when you keep on diminishing art, and not respecting the craft, and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you're disrespectful to inspiration, as musicians, have to inspire people who go to work every day, and they listen to that Beyonce album, and they feel like it takes them to a different place."
"And then they do this promotional event, and they’ll run the music over somebody’s speech, the artist, because they want commercial advertising. We aren’t playing with them anymore. And by the way, I got my wife, my daughter, and I got my clothing line, so I’m not going to do nothing that would put my daughter at risk, but I am here to fight for creativity," West continued.
"That’s why I didn’t say anything tonight, but you all knew what it meant when ‘Ye stepped on that stage.”
Kardashian stood by West's side during his rant and she even supported him via Instagram by mocking Beck's win with singer John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen.
"This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!" she captioned a pic of the trio making silly faces.
Beck further opened up about West's comments on how Beyonce should have taken home the trophy instead.
"I thought she was going to win. Come on she's Beyonce," he added to Us.
"You can't please everybody, man," he continued when pressed more on if he was angered by West's diss.
"I still love him and think he's genius. I aspire to do what he does."
Recording Academy CEO Neil Portnow was asked by reporters backstage at the show what his reaction was to West storming the stage.
"You know, that’s what’s great about live television. Live is live, it’s unpredictable," he said of the incident.
"You don’t know what’s going to happen. You want to be there, you want to see it, you want to be part of it. And, whatever happens is part of the culture of the people in the room. And we have a lot of creative people, so they do all kinds of things that they want to do, are comfortable doing, and that turned out to be, you know, a fun moment, at the end of the day.”
