Conan O'Brien began Thursday's episode of his self-titled talk show by telling viewers there is "a woman's fashion look that I absolutely love."
But if you watched the previous night's show, you already knew what the comedian was referring to: jeggings – leggings that are designed to look like jeans.
When O'Brien told guest Tim Gunn Wednesday about his fascination with the unique pants, the fashion maven revealed that men can wear jeggings, too.
"Could I wear jeggings? What if for a whole show I wore jeggings one night?" O'Brien asked. "What if I did that? Seriously."
Cut to Thursday.
After replaying the interview, O'Brien told the audience, "I have a motto on this new show. If I say I'm going to do something, I do it!"
And with that, the 47-year-old comedian dramatically ripped off his black pants to reveal faded blue jeggings.
The crowd roared their approval and chanted, "Conan! Conan!" as the funnyman sauntered across the stage.
The late-night host had trouble keeping his composure afterward, as he tried to move on with an unrelated joke and then just gave up.
"What the hell," he said, before doing what appeared to be an Irish jig.
It seems the experience only made O'Brien more of a jeggings fan.
"Tonight I wore jeggings while interviewing the Kardashians," he tweeted after the show. "I'm never taking them off. You can pry them from my cold, Irish legs."
Kourtney Kardashian expressed approval in her own tweet, writing "my life is now complete."
