Ashanti's Mom Testifies Against Her Stalker At Trial

Ashanti’s sicko stalker harassed the singer’s mom as she testified Tuesday that she was terrified for her family after learning the deluded creep was allegedly up to his old tricks.

“What made me most upset was that it was the same exact kind of language and disgusting [LANGUAGE]that made me feel upset,” Tina Douglas, the singer’s mother and manager, testified at Devar Hurd’s stalking trial.

Douglas was the past recipient of vile text messages with photos of Hurd’s penis and raunchy words aimed at her famous daughter.

Hurd served two years in jail after a 2009 conviction for sending the graphic photos in a stalking and harassment campaign against the Douglases.

In 2012, after he was sprung from jail, he allegedly began obsessively tweeting at Ashanti, 34, and her sister Kenashia Douglas, 25, even following the younger sister to an event and taking a photo with her.

Douglas was visibly upset as she recalled the latest round of lewd missives for the jury.

“I wanted to vomit. It was just sickening. Mentioning parts of her body. Saying ... what he wanted to do with my daughter,” Douglas said, apologizing for the explicit mentions.

“I was very afraid, very upset that this was starting again and we had orders of protection — he was told not to come anywhere near my family and he took a picture with my youngest daughter,” Douglas said in response to a question by Assistant District Attorney Rachel Ehrhardt.

On cross-examination, the sicko, acting as his own lawyer, was charged-up, accusing the celebrity mom from Glen Cove,L.I., of putting on an performance.

“How we doing Tina, everything okay?” he began.

“I’m not going to sit here and act like I’m not upset at your little acting [PERFORMANCE].”

“You’re here because why exactly?” Hurd demanded.

Douglas said she was there “because you’re stalking my daughter and you had an order of protection and you violated that.”

“And I’m frightened for my family, especially Ashanti,” she added.

Hurd, 36, was close to getting removed from acting his lawyer after repeated admonishments by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Daniel Conviser, who said he would put Hurd’s legal adviser, Michael Fineman, in charge if the defendant could not control himself

“You’re not letting me ask her nothing!” Hurd whined during his largely irrelevant cross-examination.

Hurd is charged with several counts of stalking, criminal contempt and related charges.

Ashanti and her sister are slated to take the stand later Tuesday.
