Adele Dedicates Album Of The Year Award To Beyonce

Adele swept the Grammys, taking home the two biggest awards of the evening: Record of the Year and Album of the Year, which many thought would go to Beyoncé's groundbreaking Lemonade album.

Nobody was more surprised and overcome with emotion by this than Adele, who professed her love to Beyoncé while accepting both awards on stage.

When she won Record of the Year, she praised Bey saying, "And, of course, my dream and my idol is Queen Bey and I adore you. You move my soul every single day. And you have done for nearly 17 years. I adore you." She then ended her speech as anyone in their right mind would, by telling Beyoncé that she wants her to be her mummy:

Minutes later, Adele was back on stage as the winner of the Album of the Year Award. This time, she delved more into her love for Beyoncé while accepting the award:

"But I can't possibly accept this award, and I'm very humbled and very grateful and gracious but my life is Beyoncé, and the album to me, the Lemonade album, Beyoncé, was so monumental, and so well thought out. And so beautiful and soul bearing and we all got to see another side of you that you don't always let us see, and we appreciate that. And all us artists adore you. You are our light. And the way that you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel is empowering, and you make them stand up for themselves. And I love you. I always have. And I always will. Grammys, I appreciate it."

As Adele cried on stage, a teary-eye Beyoncé began to cry from the front row, mouthing "I love you" to the 25 singer.
