50 Cent Caught Window Shopping

50 Cent was out looking for a new, fancy, expensive car Monday ... but the rapper was in no position to deal.

50 popped into Bev Hills Mercedes and left without even kicking a tire. As you know, he's in bankruptcy and just revealed in court docs the whole "I own a mansion in South Africa" thing was all just an image-building lie.

As for why he was at the dealership ... it doesn't cost anything to look.
