50 Cent Bets $1.6 Million On Floyd Mayweather

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson called Confidenti@l from Las Vegas, where he is set to attend the Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao fight and is promoting his own boxing flick, “Southpaw.”

Fitty, who doesn’t have a date yet for the big fight Saturday, says he’ll be attending solo for now, since he needs to focus: He said he bet $1.6 million on the battle, to be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

“I bet on Floyd,” he says. “That’s easy money to make. I told him, OK, go get me my money.” If Mayweather wins, Fitty stands to make nearly a million bucks.

The rapper tells us although he is friendly with both boxers, he had to make a choice. He chose Mayweather.

“Floyd’s gonna beat him,” says Fitty, a former Confidenti@l guest editor. “People would like to see (Mayweather) lose; he fights more than Pacquaio. This is arguably the biggest fight ever.”

The Sin City weather was putting a crimp in Fitty’s fashion plans, though, since he wants to look good in his prime seat. “It’s nice out here, but fur ain’t gonna work in this weather,” he laughed. “I am shopping, though; I’m in Vegas!”
On Sunday evening, Fitty will host a private screening of “Southpaw” at his hotel for Mayweather, and hopes the champ will in a good place after a win. But for now, he’s just trying to get him revved up.

“I’ve got to get him pumped up, I’ll tell him, f--- him up! You gotta kill him! Ain’t but one number one, that kinda stuff,” he said.

His “Southpaw” co-star and real life BFF Jake Gyllenhaal will join him in Vegas for the screening. In addition to that huge bet he hopes to win, Fitty will cash a check for a cool $500,000 after performing a few hits on Friday at Drai’s nightclub on the Strip.

Our favorite rapper also just posed shirtless in downtown Manhattan last week for a shoot for his underwear line, FRIGO Revolution. The pictures will hit billboards in July.

“Yeah, I was shirtless; some I have less than that on,” he laughed.
