After 10 days in ICE custody, 21 Savage is free pending a deportation hearing.
Charles H. Kuck, an immigration lawyer working on behalf of the “A Lot “ rapper, confirmed his release to CNN’s Nick Valencia on Wednesday afternoon.
On Tuesday, 21 Savage, whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was granted bond but it came too late in the day for him to be released right away.
The 26-year-old was arrested by ICE agents on Feb. 3 in Atlanta. The agency alleges the rapper is a UK citizen and has been living in the country since overstaying his visa as a child.
