Hill made history with her groundbreaking solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which earned multiple Grammy Awards and helped redefine the sound of hip-hop and R&B in the late 1990s. Meanwhile, Wu-Tang Clan became one of rap’s most iconic collectives, known for their gritty production, lyrical innovation, and lasting influence on hip-hop culture. Artists become eligible for Rock Hall nomination 25 years after releasing their first commercial recording. Nominees are evaluated based on their cultural impact, influence on other musicians, and overall body of work.
