Drake Says T-Pain Has “Always Had Resentment” Towards Him

Drake went on Instagram to address T-Pain‘s comments on exiting the music industry, where he recalled Drake’s declaration that he would “gracefully bow out and not get kicked out. Drizzy shared the quote and sparked dialogue in the comments, including the aforementioned statement from Drake. “This guy always had resentment for me,” wrote Champagne Papi with the crying laughter emoji. “you can hear it every time he speaks on my name. He was not the only musician to respond to T-Pain’s opinion. Former Migos member Offset also took to the comment section of a Complex Instagram post in Drake’s defense.“Da Boy is da boy sh*t ain’t gone change,” relayed the Atlanta representative. “All dat hating on another grown man who do more numbers than everybody is Diabolical while speaking on the Crash Dummies podcast, T-Pain shared his thoughts on Drake’s status in the music industry, echoing the Toronto native’s past. The one thing I learned from Drake, here’s the crazy thing, the one thing I learned from but one thing he hasn’t followed, his own words. Drake said ‘I want to be one of those people that gracefully bows out and not get kicked out,'” T-Pain exclaimed. “I have ever since said, ‘Thank y’all, I appreciate y’all. I’ll see y’all when I drop—don’t worry about it, I’ll just drop something. Let me know if you heard it,’” the 40-year-old continued in jest. “Drake is like, ‘No, listen, OK, I got another one. Hold on, check this out. Y’all ain’t like that one? OK, real quick, just one more. Let me try one more.
