Halsey Tribute To Aaliyah Recreating Album Cover Causes Mixed Reactions

There were also those who disapproved, with one X/Twitter user calling the move “high-key disrespectful.” Many pointed out, however, that the “Lucky” singer didn’t use Blackface and is, in fact, biracial herself for those uncomfortable with the idea of a white woman impersonating a Black woman. “Her ethnicity doesn’t matter!
