Atlanta Female Artist Glow Monroe releases her new single LIGHT IT UP!

Glow Monroe is a social influencer, entrepreneur, and female rapper on the rise from Atlanta, Ga.

As a kid, Monroe connected with music of the past and present. The femcee vividly recalls her parents introducing the sounds of female rap pioneers such as Roxanne Shante at a young age.

As she began to find herself, Monroe’s passion for music grew fervently. Inspired by artists such as Nicki Minaj, Tupac, and Future, she used music as a form of self expression and as a creative outlet, rapping about the woes of adolescence and her coming of age story. In 2015, Monroe stepped in the booth and never looked back.

She even began studying audio engineering at SAE because she wanted to learn to produce her own records as well as bringing in extra income. Monroe’s lyrical progression is evident in her newest tracks on all platforms. Her unique style and witty bars are a reflection of her confidence as an artist. In 2017 she was crowned the First Lady of 100 House Entertainment, an entertainment collective and indie label based out of Atlanta.

Monroe’s latest release, “Light It Up” is out on all platforms. Glow Monroe is letting the world know that she is here to stay.
