Zsa Zsa Gabor's ongoing health problems – and her age – apparently haven't stopped her desire to have a baby.
Gabor's husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, told TMZ.com that they plan on welcoming a child via surrogacy.
"It was always my wife's dream for us to have a child," he said, "and even though we won't be using any of her eggs, she would be thrilled to know I'm going through with this."
Von Anhalt, 67, reportedly plans on using his sperm to fertilize an egg of a surrogate, who will then carry the baby to term.
"I am so excited," he said, adding that 94-year-old Gabor, who is wishing for a boy, "will be a mother again at 95!"
Gabor, who has been in precarious health for years, was most recently hospitalized in late March following the death of Elizabeth Taylor. The screen legend, her husband said, feared she would be "next."
She was later released from UCLA Medical Center, which she had left on March 4 after refusing to have her left leg amputated. Most of her right left was amputated in January because of an infection.
Her husband said earlier this month that Gabor had a "50-50 chance" of surviving another year without the operation.
"I hope Zsa Zsa is going to hang around for awhile," von Anhalt told TMZ. "I want her to see and hold the baby's hand."
Gabor has been married nine times, and had one daughter – Constance Francesca Hilton – with then-husband Conrad Hilton in 1947.
