Zack Fox has signed with CAA for representation. The actor and artist recently starred as Swett in Alex Russell’s breakout film “Lurker,” a music industry thriller that won the 2026 Film Independent Spirit Award for best first feature. And he recurs in “Abbott Elementary” as Tariq, the aspiring rapper and ex-boyfriend to Quinta Brunson’s Janine Teagues. He has appeared in 18 episodes across five seasons of the ABC sitcom opposite Tyler James Williams, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti and William Stanford Davis. Fox will next be seen in Neon’s stoner comedy “The Wrong Girls” alongside Kristen Stewart, Seth Rogen and LaKeith Stanfield. And he has joined the cast of Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming series “Barbershop” as Alderman Warren. For the past few years, Fox has been developing an animated project with Donald Glover titled “Yoppaman,” which blends 1990s anime with Black southern culture. “I’ve always wanted my humor to feel cartoonish and slap-stick and goofy, like Bugs Bunny,” Fox told the publication Naima. “I’ve always centered my humor around animation, but I couldn’t go straight into making a cartoon because there are levels of power to overcome in order to do something like that. I had to prove that I can be a multi-hyphenate.” As a music artist and DJ, Fox has headlined shows across North America and Europe, with notable performances at festivals including Dweller, Movement, Portola and Tyler the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw. He is set to perform at Bonnaroo in Tennessee this summer, with more upcoming shows to be announced.
