Yung Joc Mourns The Lost Of His Nieces And Nephew In Atlanta Apartment Fire

Yung Joc has opened up about a tragedy his family recently endured involving his brother’s children: Jhacari White, 4, Xyla White, 2 and Xhalia White, 9-months-old. Joc’s young nieces and nephew, unfortunately, lost their lives in a devastating apartment fire earlier this week at Country Oaks Apartments in Atlanta During an emotional moment on his Streetz Morning Takeover radio show Joc expressed the profound grief his family is experiencing. “I intentionally did not want to speak out on it because I did not want to overshadow this story,” he began. “I’m hurt. My family is hurting, my brother is hurting, his girlfriend is hurting. he went on, “I went to the candlelight vigil last night, and it wasn’t just for their lives being lost, but it was Xyla’s birthday the Atlanta Fire and Rescue Department confirmed that all three children suffered from smoke inhalation. First Deputy Fire Chief James McLemore stated that EMS personnel performed CPR immediately upon arrival, but despite their efforts, the children died at the hospital. “My heart goes out to this family that has just lost a three-year-old, a two-year-old, and a 10-month-old right here in our community, and I’m sure the neighbors, family members, and all involved in this are just devastated,” stated Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. “So are also our Fire Rescue Department and Grady personnel and others that came to render aid in this emergency situation.
