Young Thug Says He’s Didn't Snitch Addressing Leaked Interrogation Audio

Young Thug is breaking his silence following an alleged leaked conversation between himself and detectives during his RICO trial. Many labeled him a snitch, but he set the record straight with a brief statement shared on X this Wednesday (Aug. 27). “They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?” he wrote. Peewee Roscoe addressed his relationship with the rapper in a video. “Jeff clean as Listerine, man. Clean as ivory soap, ya feel me? I done the time. I did that. That’s what you do. When you go into the interrogation room, that’s what you do,” he said. Roscoe described a statement as something “written” and called a lineup “selective.” However, for Thugger, Roscoe says, “He did what a real street n***a [was supposed to do].” He feels the rapper “kept it silent” and “kept it overly real. In the unverified audio that’s recently surfaced, a man — who many believe is Young Thug— was asked about a series of reported crimes that his associates or former associates were allegedly involved in. During the nearly two-hour clip, the man names multiple people, including Peewee Roscoe— who was accused of shooting at Lil Wayne’s tour bus in 2015. Despite the audio reportedly being two years old, Thug says he doesn’t know who shot up Weezy’s bus. “They said Roscoe, but I don’t wanna block out y’all’s case by saying Roscoe ain’t do that,” he explained. The alleged audio struck a chord among fans considering how vocal the rapper is about his disdain for snitches. Even artists who have pledged loyalty to him won’t work with others who they feel is a “rat.
