Young Thug's felony gun charges have been thrown out by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, according to legal docs seen by TMZ on Tuesday. The case stemmed from an incident where Thugger was arrested alongside associates back on Aug. 16 at a Hollywood Dave & Buster's while celebrating his 27th birthday and the release of Slime Language.
The report goes on to say that the police couldn't find any DNA on the gun that would paint him as the owner of the weapon, so he'll avoid the charges due to insufficient evidence. Police also admitted fault in having one of their cruiser vehicles collide with Thug's Rolls Royce, which caused "minor damage" to his luxury car. The YSL boss was released from jail the following day on $35,000 bond.
"I commend the District Attorney's Office for making the right decision after carefully reviewing the facts and body worn video over the past nine months," Thug's lawyer, Michael Goldstein, relayed to TMZ. "The fact so much time and work went into this decision reinforces trust in our system of justice."
