Rapper Young Buck is taking serious heat for threatening to burn down his ex-girlfriend's apartment.
The Nashville rapper was arrested Thursday after showing up to his ex's home and kicking down the door following a cryptic text he sent saying he was going to set her apartment on fire, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s office.
The 35-year-old "Let Me In" singer was released on $3,500 bail for charges of domestic bodily injury and vandalism, according to court records.
Young Buck, born David Darnel Brown, is a convicted felon who was charged for stabbing a man at the 2004 Vibe Awards in an attempt to defend Dr. Dre.
In 2012, Buck was sentenced to 18 months in prison after the FBI discovered weapons and ammunition in his Nashville home during a raid.
Young Buck is set to appear in court on Aug. 1 to address the latest charges.
