Tamika Scott unpacks an explosive fight with sister and Xscape bandmate LaTocha Scott-Bivens whom she has accused of stealing $30,000 in Bravo’s “SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B.” Tamika, 47, sits down to discuss the matter with her mother, Gloria, who she feels has shown “favoritism” to LaTocha, 49, over the years. Tocha is crushed at you,” Gloria says, to which her younger daughter replies, “No, she’s not. Gloria goes on to condemn Tamika for talking about LaTocha’s husband, talent manager Rocky Bivens, in relation to the siblings’ feud. “The only time I ever say anything about him is when he inserts himself into my business,” Tamika clarifies in the sneak peek. During a heated exchange on the premiere episode, Tamika alleged that LaTocha and Bivens, 50, conspired to cash checks of hers worth tens of thousands of dollars into his bank account. Meanwhile, the couple has vehemently denied the claim. Gloria implies that Tamika has created a false narrative to help her “sleep at night,” a comment that unnerves the singer. “If I can sleep at night? He’s in my business, he’s taking my money from me and my family,” she fumes. “But if I can sleep at night?” Gloria retorts, “Ain’t nobody taking money from you.” Xscape, also including Kandi Burruss and Tameka “Tiny” Harris, was founded in 1991 and broke up for the first time in 1998. The girl group — responsible for such hits as “Just Kickin’ It” and “Who Can I Run To?” reunited in 2001 but pressed pause again five years later. However, they reconvened in 2017 for a special performance at the BET Awards followed by their first Bravo docuseries, “Xscape: Still Kickin’ It.”
