WWE Announcer Tries To Sue Westside Gunn & Gets Fired

World Wrestling Entertainment released ring announcer Greg "Hamilton" Hutson earlier this week, it has confirmed. Hutson, 42, first signed with the company back in 2015, where he worked for the WWE NXT brand and as an in-house host for Tough Enough tapings at Full Sail University. In March 2016, he was brought up to the main roster, ring announcing episodes of WWE Superstars and WWE Main Event before becoming the regular ring announcer for the Smackdown brand. Several days ago, Hutson took issue with the fact that rapper Westside Gunn was using a sample of his voice, stating on Instagram that WWE's lawyers would sue Gunn on his behalf. Several readers pointed out Hutson has removed WWE from his Twitter handle and made the account private. In checking into why, we learned he was released. Prior to his time with WWE, Hutson worked as a host for the Orlando Magic and worked in a number of different markets, including San Antonio and Los Angeles for CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates.
