WTH! EXTREME WEATHER IN AUSTRALIA FORCES A WATERFALL TO FLOW BACKWARDS!

America's not the only country dealing with some extreme weather.
In Southern Australia, winds have reached speeds of up to 75 mph, wrecking havoc on the area's waterways – and even forcing waterfalls to flow upwards, the BBC reported.

Earlier this week, nearly a month's worth of rain fell in on the city within a single day, according to the news site.

The intense weather has also reportedly created problems for commuters who take ferries to work everyday.

This isn't the first time this year Australia's faced some extreme weather. Killer floods throughout the winter killed more than 25 people in what shaped up to be the country's costliest natural disaster.

"The Earth is delivering a message to us. And the message is that more extreme weather is becoming the norm rather than the exception," John Magrath, a climate change researcher at British charity Oxfam, told the AP at the time.
