Wtf! Statue With Jay Z & Care Bears "Jay Z Cares & Shares"

Jay Z has caught flak for continuing to sell a line of clothing at Barneys amid the department store's recent racial profiling scandal, but he has a supporter in sculptor Daniel Edwards.

Edwards, an artist who specializes in provocative depictions of celebrities, crated a statue of Jay Z surrounded by Care Bears titled "Jay Z Cares and Shares."

"Jay Z is an entertainer, not a civil rights activist," Edwards said in a press release. He notes that part of the proceeds from the line Jay Z is selling at Barneys go to his Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.

"He defended future college funds by standing up to the criticism," Edwards continued.

Edwards' most recent piece was a nude statue of pregnant Kim Kardashian titled "L.A. Fertility." Visitors to the exhibit were encouraged to rub the Kardashian replica's belly for good luck.
