Talk about growing up fast!
On Sunday night, Miley Cyrus took a break from filming her first break-out movie, "The Last Song", to wow the crowd at the Teen Choice Awards with a routine that featured the 16-year-old singing sensation pole dancing in a skimpy outfit to the song "Party in the U.S.A."
Wearing little more than short shorts and black leather biker boots, the Disney alum appeared to be doing her best to shake her teen image as she cavorted around a pole onstage.
When not swinging from a pole on the dance floor, the "Hannah Montana" star was also collecting awards. Cyrus won six awards during the night for best comedy TV show, comedy actress, music/dance movie actress, music single, summer song, and hissy fit.
But most fitting for the rising star who is quickly outgrowing her wholesome adolescent image, Cyrus presented pop star – and stripper pole fan – Britney Spears with the ultimate choice award, declaring "I'm a big fan of hers."
