Michael Jackson's body is in deep freeze at a Hollywood cemetery while his family continues to fight over where to bury him, it was reported Saturday.
The singer's devoted mom, Katherine Jackson, has frequently visited the pop icon's remains at Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills, TMZ.com reported.

Jackson's body was taken to Forest Lawn after his autopsy - but the whereabouts of the coffin became a mystery after it left a memorial service at the Staples Center.

Reports that the corpse was being stored in Motown legend Berry Gordy's family crypt were quickly debunked - along with rumors that Jackson was secretly buried.

The delay in finding the singer a final resting place is being blamed on Jackson family infighting. Brother Jermaine Jackson is still pushing to have his more famous sibling interred at the Neverland Ranch - a symbol of his excess and eccentricity.

Sources have told the Daily News that Jermaine is on the payroll of the firm that owns most of Neverland - and the rest of the fractious clan is dead-set against the idea.

Jackson abandoned Neverland after California cops raided the estate as part of their child-molestation probe and said he couldn't bear to return.

He was living in a rented Los Angeles mansion when he died June 25 of a suspected overdose of propofol – a powerful anesthetic he reportedly used to treat his insomnia.
