WTF! MAN USES CRAIGSLIST TO SET UP HIS WIFE'S RAPE!

Cops are eyeing a suspect's use of craigslist in his wife's rape.

According to police in North Carolina, a 25-year-old Kannapolis man allegedly used the online service to enlist a man to rape his own wife. Cops say the man sought an assailant to have sex with his wife using ‘scare tactics’, without her knowledge or consent.

The victim, whose name has not been released, called 911 early Sunday morning after a knife-wielding assailant raped her in her bedroom. The husband was in the room during the assault, police said. The couple's two children were also in the house but were reportedly unaware of the incident.

Authorities grew suspicious of the husband after no sign of force entry was found in the house, and information he provided didn't add up. He is being held on $200,000 bail.

Police are still investigating the identity of the assailant. It is unknown whether the husband paid the man to commit the rape.

"We share the public's horror that such a crime was committed, and our heart goes out to the victim," Susan MacTavish Best, a craigslist spokeswoman, told the Associated Press.
