Arthur Sedille's sex fantasy turned into a deadly nightmare.

The 23-year-old Oklahoma City resident could be charged with murder after claiming he shot his wife in the head during a bedroom game gone awry.

Rebecca Sedille, 50, was found with a gunshot wound to her head on Dec. 21 shortly after her husband called the police.

Sedille said he and his wife often used a handgun for fantasy games. According to the affidavit, Sedille took a handgun from a shelf beside the bed, not realizing it was loaded, and "racked the slide back causing the gun to cock." He then said he put the gun to his wife's head when it went off.

Investigators decided to take Sedille into custody on suspicion of first-degree murder out of an abundance of caution, Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Gary Knights told CNN. As of Tuesday afternoon, no formal charges were filed.

Paul Hesse, an assistant district attorney, said there is probably cause to charge Sedille with murder. Hesse said he is waiting to receive the police report.

Sedille remains in jail.

Neighbors told local KOCO-TV that the couple mostly kept to themselves and that they were shocked by the shooting.

"You never know who lives beside you," said resident Josh Wright. "You never know what's gone on in the house beside you."
