WTF! KINKY SEX GONE WRONG! DESIGNER FOUND DEAD WEARING A LATEX BODYSUIT & MASK!

A Manhattan lighting designer found dead in his apartment was wearing a latex body suit and mask and may have been killed during a sexual encounter, investigators believe.
When Alejandro Bulaevsky, 26, was discovered in his Battery Park City pad, his hands were bound with handcuffs, police sources said Tuesday.

Bulaevsky, one of the founders of a design firm that has created lighting for high-end homes and stores, was last seen walking alone into his West St. apartment building at 8 p.m. Sunday, the NYPD sources said.

His boyfriend, who was staying in England, called Bulaevsky's family Monday afternoon when he couldn't reach the designer, police sources said.

Bulaevsky's concerned co-workers also called police when the designer did not show up for work Monday morning and could not be reached.

The body was found by the building super, who had to use a key to get in. There were no signs of forced entry, nor did it appear anything was taken from the home, police said.

Detectives were searching Bulaevsky's computer Tuesday to see if e-mail or Internet records could lead them to someone who may have had access to his apartment, NYPD sources said.

Investigators believe the outfit Bulaevsky was found wearing was designed for a S&M sexual act, the sources said.

It was not immediately clear how Bulaevsky died. The city medical examiner is expected to perform an autopsy Tuesday.

Bulaevsky studied at Parsons the New School for Design and helped run Matirical LLC, a small design firm that specialized in creating LED light displays, according to the firm's Web site.

The firm has designed installations in restaurants in cities like New York, Las Vegas, and Nashville, according to the Web site.
