Wtf! Fake Cashmere Coats Contained Rat Fur

What's worse than counterfeit cashmere clothes? How about counterfeit cashmere clothes made with rat fur.

Italians authorities said they found acrylic, viscose and "fur from rats and other animals" in cashmere coats manufactured by Chinese-run firms, according to news agency ANSA.

After a year-long investigation, police seized more than a million items from five textile firms in Rome. This dubious apparel was distributed by a company located near Florence, ANSA reported.
Authorities also took knockoff silk, merino wool and pashmina apparel.

Police said 14 Chinese-born residents may face fraud charges as a result of the probe.

They just had to be chinese right?
