Of all the cringe-worthy things Amy Winehouse has done, her new attempt at rapping might be at the top of the list.
A new video catches her testing out some rhymes alongside musician friend Zalon. As if lines like, "Listen, I can write 10 raps a night, it don't matter, but you know that it's tight," weren't bad enough, the whole thing is shoddily filmed on a handheld camera.
She also comments on her famously beehived hair-do: "I know that I would never wear my hair out, unless, I am with the best."
But Winehouse really picks up steam toward the middle of the three-minute video, slurring the words "I never knew. I never knew that I, well, I know I'm a Jew. Well, a Jewmaican anyway. If you can smoke bacon, then I reckon that I never knew Zalon was so good at drums. It kind of makes me feel more dumb."
Her sad rapping skills aside, seeing the supposedly rehabbed "Rehab" singer jamming with a few friends will make fans wistful that she's not back to doing what she does best.
Please Amy, for everyone's sake - get it together and get back to singing!
