Funnyman Russell Brand posted a not-so-sweet Tweet Friday: a photo of his blushing bride, Katy Perry, without any make-up.

The unflattering snapshot shows a side of the stylish pop starlet that fans haven't seen, the U.K. newspaper The Sun reported. The "I Kissed a Girl" singer looks half-awake and ruddy-faced, sporting a furrowed brow and a couple of blemishes.

The post, viewable to 1.7 million fans following Brand on Twitter, may have landed the "Get Him to The Greek" star in hot water--it was removed shortly after being posted.

The newlyweds tied the knot in October in India and had just spent their first Christmas together in London, The Sun reported.
