Woman Post Her F**ked Up Face On Facebook To Raise Money

She has had surgery and a metal plate implanted in her face where her eye socket disintegrated under blows delivered by her former boyfriend, says Angela Brower of Memphis.

And if every picture tells a story, Brower's Facebook page speaks volumes.

Since the alleged May 18 attack by ex-lover Walter Frank Bradley, Brower has been putting graphic photographs of her injuries online, along with admonitions such as "Does this look like love to ANY OF YOU?"

The images chronicle her healing process, beginning with purple, red and yellow bruising that covers much of her face. Ultimately the injuries fade, until the 37-year-old's face is no longer a ghastly palette of ruptured blood vessels.

Her eye socket was shattered and her nose broken during an assault she said happened when Bradley came to retrieve some of his belongings after Brower called off their relationship.

It was the second time he had hit her during their relationship, she said. After the first time, she took him back.

She opened an online fund-raising account to help pay her medical costs. More than $11,000 has been donated.

Bradley remains in jail, she says on her Facebook page.
