Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg are teaming up with ESPN host and former NFL punter Pat McAfee to support public education in Pittsburgh. The trio donated $50,000 to the Pittsburgh Public Schools District, a significant show of support from three proud representatives of the city and culture. Pat McAfee, who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, joined forces with Wiz and Snoop to fund district-wide programs that aim to uplift the student population The funds will be used for initiatives that directly support the district’s approximately 20,000 students. As the second-largest school district in Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Public Schools serves a richly diverse population, nearly 80% of students are economically disadvantaged, and more than 50 languages are spoken throughout the district.
