William Ben Brooks “A Broken Beast”

William Ben Brooks is a singer, songwriter, composer, and author coming from Oklahoma, now living in New York.
He is heavily influenced by the sixties that helped him to develop his folk storyteller, well known for his expressive vocals and distinct Americana style.

Recently William released his last album, titled "A Broken Beast" filled with folk-rock tracks featuring very powerful team in addition to big names in the music industry, including Grammy and Emmy winning like Catherine Russell, Ms. Nicki Richards, Janie Burnett, the multi-Emmy winner, Robbie Kondo, Grammy nominee Kelvin Wooten, and Jon Gordon.
People who already worked with legends such as David Bowie, Madonna, Foo Fighters, Aretha Franklin, Billy Joel, and Macy Gray just to name a few.

Besides amazing recognition in the field William has been honored as a New Folk Finalist at America's most respected folk music festivals, The Kerrville Folk Festival.
He is also a recipient of the Meet the Composer Grant from New York State Council on the Arts. Under the banner of collaborator, his works have been performed at the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, the Songwriter's Guild of America Pro Shop and the prestigious New York Songwriter’s circle.
