Will Smith Joins Coco Jones For Surprise Performance Of “Summertime” At ‘Bel-Air‘s Season 3 Peacock Summer BBQ

The third season of Bel-Air is inching closer, and the cast celebrated the highly anticipated moment in the best way with a summertime BBQ. Coco Jones, who plays Ashley Banks in the series, took the stage to show off her stellar vocals and new single “Here We Go.” but the highlight of the night was when she was joined by Will Smith for a surprise performance. The show-stopping moment included a performance of the original Fresh Prince’s classic hit “Summertime,” a perfect choice to soundtrack the event’s energetic vibes. Smith can be seen rapping every word with ease as Jones slides in for the hook. Fans appreciated the veteran entertainer going back to his rapping roots The show’s talented cast was present at the party as well, including Jabari Banks, Adrian Holmes, Jimmy Akingbola, Olly Sholotan, Akira Akbar, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones. Other notable names on the guestlist included Big Sean, Jazlyn Martin, Justin Cornwell, and Alycia Pascual-Peña, Dexter Darden (Fight Night), Elia Cantu (“Days of our Lives”), and Content Creators Kelz Washington, Juju “Straw Hat Goofy” Green, Kandace Banks, Jordan Howlett, Reggie Couz, La’Ron Hines, and more. Bel-Air season 3 arrives Aug. 15 on Peacock, debuting with three episodes. The show, which is a modern-day, dramatic reboot of Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, premiered in February 2022. It follows the story of Will Smith as he moves from Philadelphia to Los Angeles and has to navigate his new life in a completely new environment. “In season three, Will’s ready to level up his way, even if it means going against the grain of what’s expected. His potential is limitless, but he still has a lot to learn. As Will expands his horizons, we see the Banks family navigating new, complex relationship dynamics. It’s definitely a season of change for everyone, and we can’t wait to share this next chapter of Bel-Air,” detailed executive producer and director Morgan Cooper.
