It may not have been another man that sparked Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's rumored marital woes this summer, but rather a pair of kids.
The A-list couple's marriage became strained over disagreeements on how to manage the careers of their ultra-talented children, 13-year-old Jaden and 11-year-old Willow, TMZ.com reported.
Sources told the gossip web site that Will Smith was pushing for more exposure for the budding superstars - Jaden, an actor and star of the recent "Karate Kid" remake, and singer Willow, who notched a huge hit with her single, "Whip My Hair" - while his wife wanted to scale back.
During the swell of reports surrounding the state of their marriage in August, a claim surfaced that Pinkett Smith had an affair with "HawhoRNe" co-star, Marc Anthony, himself recently involved in a high-profile split with wife Jennifer Lopez.
Anthony quickly debunked the rumors and Smith and Pinkett publically denied there was anything wrong with their marriage.
"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false," the couple said in a joint statement through Smith's publicist. "We are still together and our marriage is intact."
