IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

Drake actually explicitly dissed someone on a record. Last night (Apr. 1) when Drizzy dropped "Draft Day" he takes a friendly jab at Chance The Rapper, rhyming "And if I left shit to chance I would've picked a name like Chance the Rapper." Could this be payback for Chance name- dropping Drake two years ago on a cut off Chance's debut mixtape 10 Day called "Family" which he raps "Sing all you want, just don’t Drake on they ass"? Possibly.

However, the story from the song is for the first time fans actually heard the OVO head honcho name drop a rapper on a record. Throughout Drizzy's history of beefs or confrontations, that never happened. Think about it. Pusha T, Kendrick, Jay Z, Common, Kanye, Chris Brown and Ludacris, all submittal shots on records.
