WHITNEY HOUSTON DROWNED WHILE HIGH ON COKE!

Whitney Houston had cocaine in her system when she drowned in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub, officials said Thursday.

A final autopsy report on the superstar singer released by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said she had taken drugs before she was found lifeless in the tub.

The official cause of death was accidental drowning “and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use,” the coroner’s office said.

A toxicology report also revealed that traces of marijuana, the prescription anti-anxiety drug Xanax, the muscle relaxant Flexeril and the over-the-counter medication Benadryl were found in her system.

But the coroner said only the cocaine contributed to her death.

“We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure,” Houston’s sister-in-law Patricia Houston said in a statement.

The 48-year-old singer died Feb. 12, just hours before she was to attend a pre-Grammy party hosted by her mentor Clive Davis.

Investigators said they found no cocaine in her hotel room, but did collect several prescription bottles, including Xanax, along with over-the-counter medications Ibuprofen and Midol.
