Wale has announced that his eighth studio album, everything is a lot., will be coming out this fall. This is a significant moment in the 41-year-old rapper’s career, as it marks his first LP under his new label Def Jam. The forthcoming project will also close an over four-year gap since his 2021 album, Folarin II. So far, he has shared the singles “Blanco” and “Where To Start,” which sampled SWV’s “I’m So Into You.” The Washington, D.C., rapper’s upcoming effort will be 16 tracks total, and, according to him, find the Hip-Hop veteran opening up like never before. “EIA is one of my most personal and honest projects to date,” he said in a press statement. “It touches on the weight of life’s struggles and growth, and finding light through it all.
