Video: When Your Mom Buys You 2k15 Instead Of 2k16 For Christmas

One boy’s bratty reaction to getting the wrong present has gone viral.

A video posted to Twitter on Christmas Eve shows a young boy staring at a newly unwrapped video game with sheer disappointment. Then, he flips out.

“You got me 2k15 instead of 2k16,” he shouts.

An adult off screen tells him, “It was out of stock!”

The kid continues his freak-out and screams, “What the hmmm,” before throwing things around.

The 10-second video was posted by a Twitter user named Mayra and has racked up 24,000 retweets and 22,000 likes since it was posted.

Mayra said that her family planned to take back the game after the holiday, but she also later wrote that the video was a joke: “It was all a prank, we knew he would react like this.”

Whether or not he got his butt whooped in real life, Twitter users certainly gave it to him in the comments.

One called him a “spoiled brat” and another wrote, “Little brat doesn't deserve anything if he can't appreciate what he did get. Take it away and don't give him anything.”

One user accused the poster of exploiting the situation to get a free game.

Mayra reiterated that was “a joke” and wrote, “I didn’t post this to get a free game.”
