Video: Syrian Commander Cuts Out A Enemy's Heart & Takes A Bite!

The Syrian rebels appear to have their first cannibal commander.
A chilling video shows Khalid al Hamad lean over the body of a dead government soldier and carve into his torso with a sharp blade. Then he rips out the man's heart and part of his lung, sinking his teeth in before addressing the camera:

"I swear to God we will eat your hearts out, you soldiers of Bashar. You dogs. God is greater! Heroes of Baba Amr ... we will take out their hearts to eat them!"

This video of Khalid al Hamad, whose mouth spewed hate and dripped blood, was posted to a pro-regime website and went viral across the Internet. He also led a deadly cross-border bombing of a Shiite village in Lebanon, Humans Right Watch said.

Hamad, a Sunni who loathes Alawite Muslims, has been condemned by human rights groups, who validated the video's authenticity; the Supreme Military Council, who issued a poster for him "dead or alive," and many of his fellow rebels, who feel he went too far.

But he does not regret any of his actions on the frontlines of Syria's ongoing gory conflict — from the blood he spilled to the blood he tasted. In anything, his thirst for enemy blood has only grown.

"Hopefully we will slaughter all of them [Alawites]," Hamad told TIME Tuesday via Skype.

Hamad added that he has another video clip in which he saws a pro-government militiaman to little pieces. He hopes it will stir terror in Alawite Muslims, from his opposition on the battlefield to the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who is Alawite.

"After what I did hopefully they will never step into the area where Abu Sakkar is," he said, referencing his war name.

Al Hamad is not without his supporters, who feel his actions are delivering justice — an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, according to TIME.

"They were the ones who slaughtered the children and women in Bayda (in eastern Libya). We didn't start it, they started it."
