Video: Spanish Police Find Illegal Immigrant Hiding In A Suitcase

Spanish police found an illegal immigrant being smuggled into the country inside a cramped suitcase.
Eagle-eyed Guardia Civil agents at a border checkpoint between its North Africa enclave of Melilla and Morocco were stunned to unzip the luggage and find the teen curled up inside.
Video footage shows the undocumented 19-year-old from Mali looking dazed and confused as he comes face to face with officers for the first time.

El Pais reports that agents spotted a 39-year-old Moroccan man dragging a large blue suitcase through the pedestrian border section of the Beni Enzar crossing at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Noticing that the man kept stumbling and that the weight inside the case was unevenly distributed, they asked him to stop.

He ignored the demand, however, dumped the case on the floor and fled toward Melilla.

Officers gave chase and he was detained some 160 yards away from the checkpoint.
Taken back to the border, he was forced to watch as police opened up the suitcase — and the man, wearing jeans, a blue top and sports shoes, popped out.
The 39-year-old, named only by his initials NN and who has a home in the northern Spanish city of Lleida, was arrested.

The unharmed teen was taken to a temporary immigration holding center and is expected to testify at a later date against the alleged trafficker.

Guardia Civil spokesman Juan Antonio Martín Rivera said officers first thought a rare animal could have been inside the case.

"He was tall, thin and muscly. We're not talking about a small person here," he added.

How the f**k he fit in there?
