A man miraculously survived unscathed after a train rolled over him in an upper Manhattan station — a frightening ordeal that was captured on a cellphone video, officials said. The shocking footage — which was posted to YouTube this week — shows the unidentified man lying between the tracks when an A train barreled into the 175th St. station in Washington Heights on Dec. 28, an MTA official confirmed.
The terrifying clip, which was first reported by Gothamist, begins with the man sitting in the track bed and screaming as his friends desperately try to pull him back on the platform.
But the crazed man refused to leave, forcing his pals to abandon him just before the train roars into the station.
“As ridiculous as it sounds ... you always hear those stories about people surviving in the middle of the tracks,” the person who revealed the video told the website.
MTA spokesman Kevin Ortiz told the Daily News that the footage was filmed after the man fell to the tracks about 3:15 a.m.
The emotionally disturbed man refused medical attention at the scene, but was later taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for observation.
"Emotionally disturbed" my A$$! That ni**@ was high as f**k!
