A Thai animal trainer is lucky to be alive after a crocodile clamped its jaws around his head during a dangerous stunt.
Incredibly, Pravit Suebme suffered only bite marks to his neck and face after the routine at Bangkok's Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm went terrifyingly wrong.
Dramatic footage shows the 27-year-old cautiously placing his head inside the reptile's mouth.
But the angry croc suddenly slams his jaws shut, before violently thrashing from side to side.
Luckily fellow trainer Sao Saengkit, 37, was on hand to pull the animal's tail away, which caused him to drop his human prey and scuttle off.
"This is the first time this has happened at our crocodile farm," attraction owner Uthen Youngprapakorn told the Bangkok Post.
"I've regularly warned the performers to be careful at all times," he added.
