USHER DELAYS HIS DIVORCE BY NOT SIGNING HIS DIVORCE PAPERS!

Looks like Usher would rather sing about his divorce papers than sign them.
Though the R&B star released a new single, "Papers," yesterday that details his split from wife Tameka Foster Raymond in verse, Usher has yet to put his signature on the real documents, reports RadarOnline.com.

The singer's delay has reportedly been holding up a divorce settlement that was hammered out about a month ago and filed at Atlanta's Superior Court.

"Tameka thinks that it's ironic that 'Papers' is his comeback single when she just wants him to sign the paperwork and finalize the divorce," said a source. "The terms and conditions have been agreed on for around a month but he keeps stalling on them, and she's the one that wants to move on with her life."

The estranged couple, who were married in August 2007, have two sons, 1-year-old Usher Raymond V, and Naviyd, 10 months.

But their split early this year was a messy public affair, including rumors that Usher had demanded a DNA test to determine whether he is Naviyd's biological father. It was also reported that Raymond accused her soon-to-be ex's camp of running a "smear campaign" against her.

In the song "Papers," from an upcoming album tentatively tilted "Raymond versus Raymond," the singer paints himself as a sympathetic figure on the wrong end of a one-sided relationship.

An example of the heartfelt lyrics includes: "I can't deny how much I loved you / I done gave up everything I had too / As hard as it is I'm afraid I've gotta say, I'm ready to sign them papers."

Usher, 30, been on the rebound for awhile. According to RadarOnline.com, his current flame is Grace Miguel, a Def Jam executive.
