UNCLE LUKE TELLS RICK ROSS DONT END UP LIKE BIGGIE!

Southern rap pioneer Luther Campbell, aka ‘Uncle Luke’ has some pretty wise words for fellow rapper Rick Ross.

"As someone who survived several rap beefs, I'm going to give you some advice," Luke wrote in a column for the Miami New Times. "You need to seriously address the threats and attempts on your life."

Not that he's claiming to be the pillar of moral strength, but Uncle Luke's latest write-up for his "Luke's Gospel" column in the paper offers a worthwhile caveat for Ross to squash his beefs with real gangsters, rappers, and other people that could potentially harm him.

"All this gangster bulls--- is jeopardizing your career." He wrote. "No club or arena is going to risk people getting shot."

Luke's concern is the latest in a string of responses to the January 28 incident in which Ross and a female companion crashed his Rolls-Royce into a building trying to escape from being shot at by a still unidentified gunman.

Since the ordeal, there has been a lot of speculation about who would target the "Boss" rapper. Ross has angered a Chicago-based gang after the group called him out for mentioning their leader in one of his songs without giving them any credit or pay. Ross canceled a string of his concerts in December after The Gangster Disciples threatened him persistently online.

"It's a shame you can't enjoy life without spending part of your earnings on heavy security or risking your freedom by purchasing an arsenal," Luke continued. "Trust me, you don't want to go out like Biggie Smalls or Tupac."

Of course, the murders of Notorious B.I.G., also known as Biggie Smalls, and Tupac Shakur also involved the two rappers being gunned down while in cars. Both of their tragic endings were rumored to be linked to gang affiliations and violence between members of their respective record labels - Bad Boy Entertainment in New York and Death Row records in California.

Ross has famously feuded with rapper 50 Cent as well. Shortly after the car accident 50 Cent took to Twitter to ridicule Ross and claim the incident was staged.
