UH! UH! NAKED MAN RAN THROUGH A BUILDING KNOCKING ON PEOPLE'S DOOR'S & STABBING THEM!

A naked madman went on a stabbing spree in an upper Manhattan apartment building Tuesday, knifing three elderly people, critically wounding one of them.

Christian Falero, 23, rampaged in the buff through the building where he lives on Riverside Drive in Washington Heights about 4 p.m., greeting his victims with knocks on their doors, police sources said.

When the three unsuspecting neighbors answered their doors, Falero plunged his blade into their bodies, the sources said.

One other neighbor got off relatively easy - with just a punch in the face, the sources said.

The nude loon fled the scene, covered in blood, clutching the knife and spouting doomsday gibberish.

"I saw him walking down the street naked, covered in blood," said Wayne Knight, 51. "He was just saying stuff that didn't make sense, talking about how the world was going to end."

As cops collared him about two blocks away, near Riverside Drive and W. 158th St., Falero begged the officers to put him out of his misery, witnesses said.

"I saw a young gentleman, in his birthday suit, being subdued by the police," said Maurice Samuels, 31. "This guy was bloodied up. Had blood on hands and feet, just screaming out: 'Do me a favor and kill me!' "

The police did not oblige him, so he tried to get the job done on his own. "He started poking himself in the chest with the knife," said a woman who declined to give her name. "The knife had to be a foot long."

Police said Falero was in custody Tuesday night at an undisclosed hospital, where he was being treated for the stab wounds. Charges were pending.

Cops did not reveal a motive for the violence.

The victims were taken by ambulance to area hospitals. One of them, an elderly woman, was in critical condition, officials said.

"My friend's grandmother was one of the ones attacked," Samuels said. "She's an old lady, maybe in her 70s. I saw she had blood on her face and chest."
